What Is N-P-K?
Our proprietary soil blends are the foundation for healthy plants.
At Desert Mirage Farms our soil blends are developed to give plants access to nutrients, water and air. All of which stabilizes a plant’s roots and assists its natural resistance to pests and diseases.
These three numbers form what is called the fertilizers N-P-K ratio — the proportion of three plant nutrients in order; Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). The product’s N-P-K numbers reflect each nutrient’s percentage by weight.

Nitrogen
(N) – Nitrogen is mainly responsible for the growth of leaves on the plant.
Phosphorus
(P) – Phosphorus is largely responsible for root growth and the development of flowers and fruits.
Potassium
(K) – Potassium is a nutrient that helps the overall function of the plant to function properly.
